Commentary: Damascus bombings cast a shadow on a political solution to the Syrian crisis

On Saturday, two car bombs exploded in Damascus, targeting government security agencies. The Syrian Interior Ministry said 27 people died and 140 were injured in two attacks by two suicide bombers. In addition, a car bomb exploded that day in the Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp in the Damascus suburb, killing two terrorists.
