The national electoral register will be officially established on July 20 in accordance with the timetable of the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI). The complaints and last registrations on the electoral list were indeed completed on July 6 at the level of the fokontany,

At the close of registration as part of the overhaul of the electoral list on June 10, the CENI registered 10,768,137 voters, or 79.22% of the target. This number of voters will still have to be revised upwards at the end of the 20-day appeal procedure which lasted until July 6.

The fokontany will have until July 11 to submit the verified electoral lists to the district electoral commissions (CED). The processing time at the district computer centers is 5 days. After processing the complaints and registrations, the electoral lists will be drawn up on 17 July. The national duplication will be done at the level of the National Computer Data Processing Center (CNTDI) on July 18 and 19. At the end of the national appeal and duplication procedure, the national electoral register is established on 20 July.

According to CENI figures released after June 10, Antananarivo registers the highest number of voters with 3,347,734, followed by Fianarantsoa with 2,047,619 voters and Toamasina with 1,652,380 registered voters.
