Fig trees joins the Temporada Alta performing arts festival for the first time as a new sub-venue to host the show Diptych: The missing door and The lost roomof the international company Peeping Tom.
It is a dance-theatre proposal, divided into two pieces, by the prestigious Belgian company Peeping Tom. Specializing in mysterious and cinematic atmospheres, the company will display its physical virtuosity in the El Jardí Municipal Theatre on Saturday, October 28 (8 p.m.).
Last year this two-piece show, along with a third (Triptych: The missing door, The lost room and The hidden floor)went through National Theater of Catalonia selling out tickets for all performances and was applauded by audiences and critics.
International awards
It has been recognized with national awards, such as the Critics’ Award 2022 for best international show, and international, nominated for ‘Best New Dance Production’ at the Olivier Awards (UK) in 2023; Jovan Cirilov Award – Belgrade Dance Festival (Serbia) in 2022 and the award for Best Contemporary Production in 2021 at Danza & Danza Magazine (Italy).
Its visit to Figueres as part of the Temporada Alta festival is a unique opportunity to see an international company that is a benchmark in European dance.
