Cuoco revealed that she had spent the last two months trying to figure out what was wrong with King, who had been violently ill. Despite countless vet appointments, medications, and even surgery, nothing seemed to be helping. Fortunately, Cuoco finally found a specialist who discovered two foxtails in King’s body, just days away from piercing his heart.
The actress shared photos of King’s shaved body and stitches, emphasizing the seriousness of the surgery he underwent. Cuoco stressed that foxtails must be surgically removed and do not heal on their own. She expressed her gratitude that King is now recovering and will be able to live a long and happy life.
Cuoco’s love for animals is well-known, as she has several rescue dogs, including Zeus, Ruby, Shirley, and Miss Opal. She also has horses and farm animals, showcasing her dedication to all creatures big and small. In May, Cuoco and her partner Tom Pelphrey sadly had to say goodbye to their beloved dog Dump Truck, whom they affectionately called “Dumpy” or “Dumps.”
Pelphrey posted a heartfelt tribute to Dump Truck, describing him as a special dog with a larger-than-life personality. Cuoco has also experienced the loss of her beloved dog Norman two years ago, further highlighting her deep connection with animals.
