Universities of the Brest region plan to enroll 3,912 people for the first year, BelTA informs.

Brest State Technical University plans to enroll 1,271 people for 30 specialties. Of these, 31 have already been enrolled: 29 in the target area and two winners of the University Olympiad. With this in mind, it is planned to accept another 490 people for the budget, and 750 for a paid form of education.

This year, BrGTU opened a recruitment for the specialty “customs”. Graduates will be awarded the qualification of a customs specialist. Of the 25 places in the first set, four are already occupied by targeted candidates.

Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin on 22 specialties plan to accept 996 people. 507 places were allocated for education at the expense of the budget, another 489 – on a paid basis. One hundred people have already become first-year students: eight winners of the University Olympiad and 92 people who entered the target area.

This year, a new direction appeared at the university at the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​— modern foreign languages ​​(English, Chinese). Graduates will be awarded the qualification of “linguist, teacher of two foreign languages ​​(English, Chinese)”, the duration of study is four years. Eight state-funded and three paid places have been identified for the first enrollment, and target recipients have already been enrolled in two.

Polessky State University plans that this year 821 people will join the ranks of students in 18 specialties. Of these, 484 will be enrolled in a budget form of education, 337 – in a paid one. Five people who entered the target area and 18 winners of the University Olympiad have already become students.

“We have an innovation. Graduates of the Lyceum of Polessye State University with 10 points in two specialized subjects and at least 8 points in other subjects in the certificate have the right to enter our university without entrance examinations,” said Vitaliy Cheshchevyk, executive secretary of the admissions committee of Polesye State University. By the way, one of the graduates of the National Children’s Technopark chose to study at the Pinsk university.

At Baranovichi State University, 824 people are ready to accept 22 specialties for the first year. Including 520 young people will be able to study on the budget, 304 for a fee. Two winners of the University Olympiad and 32 target students have already been enrolled in the university.
