Nice attack: security flaws are “negligence”, according to the prosecutor

We believed the fate of the investigation into the flaws in the security system in Nice on the evening of the attack of July 14, 2016 almost sealed. After six years of investigation, four pages of an additional indictment shake everything up. In this document dated July 5, which Le Parisien was able to read, the public prosecutor of Nice, Xavier Bonhomme, asks judges to reclassify the facts of “endangering the lives of others” as “homicides and injuries involuntary” as well as a long list of “new investigative measures.
