Königswartha: Johnsdorf collects donations for a new playground

Koenigswartha. The Königswartha district of Johnsdorf is to get a new playground. This is at least the goal of the home club founded in 2016, which has a corresponding Project on the 99Funken donation platform has placed.
According to board member Nicolle Johanson, the association wants to “create a meeting place for our youngest residents so that they can develop their social skills and motor skills and encourage their creativity through play.” But the site, which is close to several long-distance cycle paths, should also invite cyclists with their children or grandchildren to linger.
The playground should appeal to both small and older children and also offer their parents the opportunity to exchange ideas. A climbing rocket from GDR times and a football field are currently available. The target was 15,000 euros, which should come together by August 31st. In the past, the Johnsdorf local history association has already converted the fire brigade equipment house into a club house. Johnsdorf has about 60 residents, ten of whom are children. (SZ)
