Four short films, which stood out in this year’s competition program of the Positively Different Short Film Festival, will be screened today in the central square of Kato Pedina, as part of the 14th Zagoriwood.

The screening of the films will start at 9.30 in the evening, the total duration is 74′ and the entrance is free. The films that will be shown are the following:
“The Last Party” by Matteo Damiani (Italy): Celeste, 70 years old, alone after the death of her husband, wants to do what she did not dare to do in so many years of marriage: dance at the village festival. While preparing, she is visited by her estranged sister Teresa and decides to accompany her on her visit to the city. The trip is an opportunity for them to meet again, face the past and get to know each other as if for the first time.
“To Read Poems” by Alexis Hatzigiannis (Greece): A road trip with a deliveryman and a poet leads the two to a grotesque and dangerous poetry slam. But it’s Christmas, and miracles are real.
“The Address” by Aram Dildar (Turkey): A big surprise awaits a teacher who is appointed to his special homeland, which he knows like the back of his hand: the village he was appointed to is not in a single report, nor on maps.
“Kingdom of Stranger” by Rada Ali (Egypt): On the Pacific coast of Los Angeles, Ali and Jaffa struggle to remember the Arab Mediterranean cities they left behind.
