The centers for vulnerable people are the so-called Violeta centers that provide comprehensive and specialized care to girls, boys, adolescents and women who are in situations of vulnerability or risk, it is known.

Implementation. From January to December of this year, the Ministry of Women and Human Rights is scheduled to implement fourteen Violeta centers with a budget of $4,407,796. Eight centers are scheduled to be implemented and put into operation until August, while between September and October the implementation, equipping, and start-up of six more centers are scheduled in the cities of Ambato, Santo Domingo, Huaquillas, Santa Cruz, Zamora, and Riobamba.

Socialization. In order to publicize the opening of the Violeta Center in Riobamba, yesterday the Minister for Women and Human Rights, Paola Flores Jaramillo, was received at the session of the Riobamba Municipal Council, who stated that the National Government is interested in starting the Violeta Center in Riobamba, for which the Government has allocated a budget of $283,620, as a counterpart the Municipal GAD of the Riobamba canton must grant the land in the name of the aforementioned ministry to start the work. , which will take place in seven weeks. Mayor John Vinueza Salinas and the council members thanked them for the contribution that the Government will provide and asked for support for the shelter.
