Several weeks ago it became known that Oppenheimer was rated R in the United States by the MPAA, which means that those under 17 can only enter with an adult.
It has been many years since a Nolan film had this qualification, which Memento and Insomnia had obtained. This is always observed because a priori a good box office awaits films, this rating usually subtracts many sales.
But that R is not being replicated in these lands where a simple nude can achieve a simple “suitable for people over 13 years of age” where minors with a father, mother or legal guardian can always enter the room without problems. And that is what INCAA finally put on Oppenheimer, which opens today in many theaters across the country.
