From Big Ben to the Spasskaya Tower: the most beautiful chimes in Europe

The clock on the south side of the Old Town Hall tower is a medieval masterpiece. They appeared on the tower at the beginning of the 15th century. The clock shows Old Bohemian, Babylonian, Central European and sidereal times, the times of sunrise and sunset, the position of the Sun and the Moon among the constellations and the phases of the Moon. Every hour, when the clock strikes, the figures of the 12 apostles appear from the depths of the chimes, replacing each other.
