Hockey teams of the Air Force and Air Defense Army “Groza” and the Army Corps of the Northern Fleet “Armata” took part in the first hockey games among amateur teams of the Night Hockey League in the city of Sochi.
The Groza team defeated the Sigma team from the city of Aksai, Rostov region. The Severomors scored 26 unanswered goals against their rivals. The game took place at the ice hockey rink of the Iceberg-1 Ice Sports Palace.
The Armata team lost to hockey players from the city of Novokuznetsk on the ice of the Bolshoi Sports Palace.
In the next game, the hockey players of “Armata” will compete with the “Ice-9” team from Nizhny Novgorod in the “Iceberg-2” Sports Palace. The Groza team will fight the Ice Arena hockey team from the city of Oryol on the ice of the Bolshoi Sports Palace.
