If you are a resident of Narva and over 50 years old, you have a desire to take part in a new creative project – we are looking for and waiting for you!
Who is looking? The Steirischer Herbst Contemporary Art Festival, together with Vaba Lava, is preparing a project “Borderline Euphoria”, dedicated to the identity of the Narvitians, which will be held in Graz, Austria.
Who do we need? Men and women aged 50+. Citizenship and nationality do not matter. NO ACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Why do you need it? This is a great opportunity to reflect together on what makes Narva so special and to tell about it through art.
Are they paying for it? Yes. There is a fee for participation in performances. Transport and accommodation in Austria is paid. And participation in the project is a manifestation of one’s activity and one’s love for the city.
What’s happened ? Steirischer Herbst (German: Styrian Autumn) is a very famous contemporary art festival that has been taking place in Graz, Austria since 1968, attracting young talents from all over the world. Where all kinds of art are mixed – dance, music, theater, literature, architecture and others. The connection between different artistic disciplines, the interweaving of different aesthetic positions – this is what reveals the soul of the festival, its taste and color.
What days will it take place? The casting will take place on July 29 at 15:00 at Vaba Lava Narva. Rehearsals will take place from August 23 to September 13 in Narva, rehearsals will continue in Graz, where performances will be held from September 22 to 25, 2023 as part of the Steirischer Herbst festival in Graz, Austria.
