The State Space Administration of the People’s Republic of China has published a series of images of Mars taken by the orbital module of the Tianwen 1 space probe. The footage captures the planet, the probe itself and the Chzhurong rover.

The module is in Mars orbit for 526 days, 3.5 million km from Earth, it was launched on July 23, 2020. Photos were transmitted for about 19 minutes 30 seconds.

The Chinese rover “Chzhuzhong” of the “Tianwen-1” system began research on May 22 last year. In June, the rover began sending video to the Tianwen 1 station, which sends them from Mars orbit to Earth.
