Alappuzha: Four more SDPI activists have been arrested in connection with the murder of OBC Morcha state secretary Ranjith Srinivasan. Two of them were directly involved in the murder. Mohammad Badusha, the shop owner who issued fake SIM cards to the accused, was also arrested. Someone is involved in the conspiracy.

The accused, a native of Alappuzha, were arrested from Perumbavoor. Ten people have been arrested so far in the case. Anoop, Razeeb and Ashraf, who were directly involved in the murder, were earlier arrested. Sinu, a native of Vellakinar and Alappuzha area secretary, was earlier arrested for his involvement in the conspiracy.

According to police, 12 people were directly involved in the murder. The investigation team is hoping that the information obtained from the detainees will reach the other accused.

Meanwhile, the main accused in the SDPI leader Shan murder case have been arrested. Only a handful of those involved in the conspiracy are yet to be arrested.

OBC Morcha leader Ranjith Srinivasan was killed on December 19 following the assassination of SDPI state secretary KS Shan. The accused, who arrived at the house in the morning, knocked on the door and as soon as the door was opened, he entered the house and committed murder. The assailants performed the act in front of their mother and wife.
