The Model A by Alef Aeronautics is the first in the sector to receive a certification that approves its use on the streets or airs of the United States; Pre-sales began at the end of last year, with the flying car going for US$ 300,000 (or R$1.45 million). Model A Specifications

The Model A is 100% electric and has eight engines; It is the only flying car with vertical takeoff and landing, according to the manufacturer; Its range on the ground is 322 km; in the air, it is 177 km; It can carry up to two passengers; For safety and space saving reasons, the Model A does not have apparent propellers; the eight propellers installed on the model are covered as a kind of mesh by the body panels; Its speed will not exceed 38 km/h on a paved surface. If the driver needs more speed, this is possible with the flight features; the manufacturer indicates that he can fly above obstacles until the destination is reached. After the launch of its first flying car, Alef Aeronautics plans to introduce a four-person “flying sedan” called the “Model Z”, but its launch is still more than a decade away.
