In addition, within this agreement, customers of the loyalty programs of the three airlines will be able to accumulate and consume Avios on their trips, the common currency for the three companies.

The president and CEO of Iberia, Fernando Candela, has indicated in a press release that they are “very excited” with this new route and with the adhesion to the joint business agreement, which is “excellent news”.

With this, he stressed, the “much desired bridge between Spain and more than 200 destinations in Asia, Australasia, the Middle East and Africa” is being built, adding that Spain is advancing “towards a new model of higher quality tourism”, for which that the route with Doha is “a giant step”.
