It is not being a pleasant season for T1, well Faker’s injury continues, and with it, the team’s losing streak. To the point of even jeopardizing their qualification for the LCK playoffs this summer split, and of course the try to reach the Worlds 2023.
The team has gone from being runner-up in the LCK in the spring and close to another MSI final, to a delicate situation in which good old Poby doesn’t reach Faker’s level, as practically no one would arrive. An unpleasant ballot to jump from the academy to the first team of one of the most demanding teams in the world, and with the shadow of the eternal GOAT of League of Legends.
With a single victory in seven games, T1 has gone from 6-2 to 7-8being the last defeat on the morning of this same Thursday, without yet mathematically tying their qualification to the playoffs.

2-0 win against NS RedForce
Defeat 0-2 against Dplus KIA

Loss 1-2 against OK BRION
Loss 1-2 against DRX
In front They have three games left, and with winning one, it works for them. Although the truth is that, if they do not win any, it is quite complex for any of their rivals at the bottom of the table to win all their games when they have only won 4 of 15 to date.
Time will tell what this season holds for T1, and how they will be able to face the playoffs if Faker is still injured by early August. And pray that the 70 points achieved in spring allow him to fight for that last ticket to the Regionals Finals in order to reach the always desired Worlds of League of Legends.
