Chinese company Da-Jiang Innovations (DJI), the world’s largest manufacturer of consumer drones, has unveiled a new drone model – Air 3, equipped with two cameras. The basic version of the novelty will cost from $1.1 thousand.

The drone is equipped with a 48MP wide-angle camera from the DJI Mini 3 Pro, and the second camera – a 48MP telephoto lens – is borrowed from the DJI Mavic 3 Pro. Both cameras support 4K video recording, have a Slow Motion mode and the ability to record vertical 2.7K video due to the fact that the camera gimbal allows you to rotate it 90 degrees.

The novelty received a 4241 mAh battery, which allows you to spend up to 46 minutes in the air. The latest generation OcuSync O4 communication protocol allows you to transmit 1080p video at 60 frames per second at a distance of up to 20 km. For DJI Air 3, advanced obstacle detection capabilities and a return to launch function are announced.

Recall that in April 2022, DJI stopped working in Russia and Ukraine. The company explained this decision by “reassessing the requirements” of market compliance. The company does not plan to officially supply the new drone to the Russian market.
