A heat wave is sweeping through Europe with no end in sight. But there are also places where temperatures are pleasant.
Summer, sun, sweating? In view of the current heat wave in southern Europe, many holidaymakers get real hot flashes even before the start of their trip. At 40 degrees Celsius, even the dream of a relaxing bathing holiday on the Adriatic quickly turns into an ordeal. A trip into the sun does not necessarily mean that you have to be prepared for high temperatures.
In a current analysis, the travel portal “Travelcircus” looked at which places in Europe are most pleasant this summer. To do this, the experts used data from common climate portals and evaluated them on the basis of three criteria: average temperature in July and August, average hours of sunshine per day and rainy days per month.
The result is a ranking of places where a heatwave is very unlikely this year. You only have to sweat there if you put it on it. At the same time, you don’t have to do without the sun there. Sounds tempting? We show you the top ten in the picture gallery.
