Title: BJP President Annamalai Urges Support for BJP Candidate in Ramanathapuram Constituency

Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu – In a fervent rally held in Ramanathapuram, BJP President Annamalai passionately called for the support of the BJP candidate from the Ramanathapuram constituency in the upcoming elections. The rally was attended by prominent leaders such as former Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan, MLA Nayanar Nagendran, and District President Dharani Murugesan, among others.

Addressing the crowd in front of the palace, Annamalai emphasized Prime Minister Modi’s love for the land and people of Tamil Nadu. He highlighted the significant financial contribution of Rs.10.76 lakh crore made by the Prime Minister to the state. Furthermore, he praised PM Modi’s recognition and promotion of the Tamil language, including his call for Thirukkural, a renowned Tamil literary work, to be translated into 100 languages.

Taking a swipe at the ruling DMK party, Annamalai accused them of rampant corruption during their 27 months in power. He cited the cases of two ministers who have faced the enforcement department’s actions for alleged corruption. Minister Ponmudi was alleged to have kept Rs.41 crore as a deposit fund, while Minister Senthil Balaji is currently serving time in jail for corruption involving crores of rupees. Annamalai rallied the public against the DMK, alleging that corruption has been rampant under their regime.

Drawing historical parallels, Annamalai recalled Swami Vivekananda’s visit to Ramanathapuram on his return from Chicago. He compared the warm welcome received by Vivekananda to that of Prime Minister Modi, reiterating the people’s desire to see the Prime Minister contesting in the Ramanathapuram constituency. Annamalai asserted that the people want PM Modi to contest in all 543 constituencies across India and pledged to convey their love and support to the Prime Minister. He also dismissed the recent alliance formed against the Prime Minister as “meaningless.”

In his tour of Ramanathapuram, Annamalai paid homage at the Murugan temple and received a warm welcome from over 300 women who presented him with traditional Kumbha Mariyatha and milk jugs. Throughout his journey, locals greeted him with flowers, demonstrating their support. Annamalai also took a moment to meet a disabled youth at a mechanic shop, assuring him of his help.

The BJP President concluded his visit by worshiping at the Vivekananda Stupa in Rajavedi and interacting with women self-help groups in Ramanathapuram Nadar Street to address their grievances.

With fervor and enthusiasm, Annamalai inspires the local population to rally behind the BJP candidate and expresses confidence in Prime Minister Modi’s ability to serve the nation. As the elections approach, the battle for the Ramanathapuram constituency promises to be an exciting one.
