For the second consecutive year, Collioure offers a festival dedicated to humor. He is sponsored by the child of the country, Mathieu Madénian. In an idyllic setting, festival-goers had the chance to attend many sketches.
Collioure, a jewel of the Côte Vermeille that Mathieu Madénian knows by heart. The Catalan comedian is at home, on his adopted land. “Collioure is a bit like the Saint-Tropez of the Pyrénées-Orientales”, said the sponsor of the Collioure Humor Festival. “When we were kids, we came here because it was classy”. He chose to set up a festival there to highlight his comedian friends, as well as to discover young talents. “This allows me to give back to the village what it has brought me“.
A popular success
