In Madurai, a men-only non-vegetarian food festival was held. Of these, more than 7,000 attended with interest.

Anuppatti village is located near Thirumangalam in Madurai. The festival is held annually in the month of March at the Karumpara Muthiah Temple, which is considered to be the guardian deity here. Its uniqueness is that only men participate in the ceremony.

Devotees leave the Karumpara Muthiah Temple to raise the Kidai for the fulfillment of their prayers. No one will catch these kids. During the festival in the month of Markazhi, they hold kites and serve food to the Sami.

In this, more than 7,000 men from more than 10 villages including Karadikal, Sekkanurani and Melaurappanur participated and tasted non-vegetarian food.

When the leaf feast is over, leave the leaf intact. The restriction that women should come to the area only after the leaves have dried is also followed.
