123 drivers were caught driving under the influence of alcohol on the eve of the new civil year. 159 driver’s licenses were revoked for 30 days, for drivers who committed serious traffic offenses. Hundreds of police and volunteers from the Traffic Division worked throughout the weekend in increased forces throughout the country to keep road users safe and allow free and safe travel on New Year’s Eve.
