Illegal Medical Lab Containing Bioengineered Mice and Infectious Diseases Discovered in Fresno

In a shocking turn of events, investigators in Fresno, California uncovered an illegal medical lab housed within a warehouse. The lab, which sent chills down the spines of officials, was found to be teeming with bioengineered mice and samples of various infectious diseases including COVID-19, HIV, and herpes.

Approximately 1,000 mice were discovered in the lab, with a distressing number of almost 200 of them already dead. The remaining mice had to be euthanized due to the grave concerns associated with their genetic modification.

The revelation of this illegal lab containing nearly 1,000 bioengineered mice has left authorities deeply alarmed, especially after it was discovered that tissue samples stored within the facility had tested positive for infectious diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis.

City Manager Nicole Zieba expressed her shock, stating, “This is an unusual situation. I’ve been in government for 25 years. I’ve never seen anything like this.”

The makeshift lab, which officials believe was operated by Prestige Biotech, contained approximately 30 refrigerators and freezers, some of which were non-operational. Additionally, numerous incubators, medical testing supplies, and hundreds of mice were also found. Several disease samples were tested from the lab, revealing the presence of infectious agents like herpes, coronavirus, E. Coli, and malaria.

According to Wang Zhaolin, a representative of Prestige Biotech, the mice inside the warehouse had been genetically engineered to catch and spread the COVID-19 virus, adding a chilling dimension to an already concerning situation.

The investigation into the warehouse began in March when a local code enforcement officer discovered a garden hose attached to a back wall of the building. As officials explored further, they stumbled upon medical devices, such as COVID-19 and pregnancy tests, suggesting that the lab had been involved in the creation of these items.

The court documents related to the incident shed light on the horrifying discoveries made within the lab. The documents stated, “Certain rooms of the warehouse were found to contain several vessels of liquid and various apparatus. Fresno County Public Health staff also observed blood, tissue and other bodily fluid samples and serums; and thousands of vials of unlabeled fluids and suspected biological material.”

Of the mice found within the warehouse, nearly 800 were euthanized by officials, with an additional approximately 175 mice already deceased when they were uncovered.

Further unsettling details emerged as assistant director of the Fresno County Department of Public Health, Joe Prado, revealed, “There was over 800 different chemicals on site in different bottles of different acids. Unfortunately, a lot of these are being categorized under unknown chemicals.”

News broke that all biohazard material within the lab has been destroyed as of July 7. However, an in-depth investigation into the origins and activities of the lab is still ongoing.

Efforts to obtain comments from the CDC and the Fresno County Department of Public Health have been fruitless so far.

This astonishing discovery of an illegal medical lab in Fresno has sent shockwaves through the community and raised serious concerns regarding the potential dangers that such operations can pose to public health and safety.
