A fire in vegetation took over a vacant lot on Rua Marcilio Cardoso, located in the Vila Nasser neighborhood, in Campo Grande, during the night of this Saturday (29). The Military Fire Department was called to respond to the occurrence, which created a lot of smoke in the region.

According to residents who passed by the site, the fire started around 6:30 pm. Seamstress Nadir Lima, 55, said that the situation has become frequent.

“This land always burns, a funny guy throws garbage and then sets it on fire. The area has already been fenced, but they found a way to open it and throw garbage”, he said to the report.
