Three people have died following the crash of a small plane in Upland, near Los Angeles, California.

The aircraft, a Beechcraft P35 Bonanza, reportedly crashed into a hangar as it took off around 6:30 a.m. local time (9:30 a.m. Eastern Time) Sunday, according to CNN reports.
San Bernardino County Fire Department announced in a tweet that the three occupants were found dead in the rubble.
The US Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have opened an investigation into this event.
