Watan Al-Youm: In the presence of Mr. Ayman Farouqa, Head of the Cybersecurity Department at Umniah Company, and the Department of the Cybersecurity Center at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the Director of the Center, Mr. Nader Sweidan, the Center Supervisor, Mr. Hussam Al-Sayed, and Mr. Hassan Ahmed Anbousi, the course preparer and supervisor, and with direct support from the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, and the continuous support of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Dr. Maher Al-Hourani, the first batch of the Ethical Hacking Essentials (EHE) course was graduated at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Center for Cybersecurity, on Thursday 7/27/2023.
The course aimed to provide students with basic concepts and knowledge to understand how to hack systems and networks in legal and ethical ways, in the context of improving students’ ability to assess the security of systems and test them to ensure that there are no security holes in them.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Ahliyya Amman University Center for Cybersecurity was established two years ago and has offered many courses, including an introduction to cybersecurity and an open day for awareness, and has participated in several conferences.
The center will hold sessions for the local community in order to spread and educate everyone about the dangers of electronic violations and the protection required for that
