At least eight people have died in a police operation in Brazil. This was announced by the governor of the state of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, at a press conference, as reported by the Brazilian newspaper “Folha de S. Paulo” on Monday. Brazilian media had previously reported at least ten dead in the coastal town of Guarujá, citing the São Paulo Police Ombudsman.
