Sony updates PS5 with 8TB SSD support, expands 3D sound and accessibility options

While Sony is expected to launch a “PlayStation 5 Pro” soon, the company continues to improve its current PS5 update by update. Now it has distributed one that brings some improvements in the field of sound and storage that can be interesting for those with the deepest pockets. Of course, it is a beta version, so it will not be widely available for a while.

This update also adds Tempest 3D AudioTech, Sony’s surround sound previously supported only with headphones, now extended to compatible TVs, sound bars, and home theater systems via HDMI.

Among the accessibility innovations, Sony will now allow the use of a second command for the same account to be combined with the idea of ​​helping the user of the main command as if they were, in the end, a single command. It also allows adding haptic feedback when navigating the console interface.
