Robert Kirkman was present at the most recent San Diego Comic-Con where he had the opportunity to talk with the portal ScreenRant Regarding the news that will arrive for the second season of Invincible, scheduled for November 3 of this year. However, there was also an opportunity to be asked about the live-action project based on his comic.

When the first season aired InvincibleKirkman confirmed that an adaptation was in development that, as happened with the animated series, would seek to give a completely different approach to the story so that it feels like a different product.

To the surprise of many, Kirkman pointed out that the project is still underway, and that he is working on it with Universal. He unfortunately has not been able to advance more details due to the writers and actors strike that is still in development. Of course, the comic book writer showed his support in this regard, noting that “everyone is trying very hard to make sure that future generations can work, prosper and survive in this industry (Hollywood)»

Regarding the live-action adaptation of Invincible, he says that Universal is very interested and that in some future they will be able to respond to the news they have prepared regarding this adaptation.
