The Walt Disney Company turns 100 and to celebrate its first century, Giunti Editore publishes a volume entitled ‘The most beautiful Disney stories – 100 years of comic stories’, presenting a selection of stories on the occasion of the 100th anniversary. most famous, significant and beloved comics of all time, starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
Starting with ‘Mickey Mouse in the Hell Valley’ of 1930, scripted by Walt Disney himself and illustrated by newcomer Floyd Gottfredson; passing through ‘Donald Duck and the submarine adventure’ of 1972, a poetic tale drawn by Giorgio Cavazzano starring the sweet Reginella; up to ‘Topolino e gli Ombronauti’ of 2012, created by Casty in homage to the atmospheres of past stories.
To complete the volume, on a hard cover with a holographic effect, consisting of 304 pages at a price of 14.90 euros, available in bookstores, are the titles: ‘The Wise Hen’ from 1934, ‘Donald Duck and Christmas on Monte Orso’ from 1948, ‘Mickey and the Chirikawa necklace’ of 1960, ‘Qui Quo Qua and apple time’ of 1988, ‘Dachshunds against Deposito’ of 2002.
