06:20: New drone attack against Moscow
Russia foiled a new Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow and its region early on Tuesday, Russian authorities said. A drone “was neutralized by (means of) electronic warfare and, having lost control, crashed on the territory” of the Moscow City business district, said the Russian Ministry of Defense.
He “hit the same tower of the City as the last time,” said the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin on Telegram. On the night of Saturday to Sunday, several windows of two buildings in Moscow City, the most important business district of the city, had indeed been blown after an attack by Ukrainian drones.
“The facade at the level of the 21st floor was damaged, the windows were broken on an area of 150 m2. There is no information about casualties,” the elected official said of Tuesday’s attack, explaining that emergency services are on site.
