Vasco: FC Goa drew with Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League and scored two goals each. Jackson Singh and Adrian Luna scored for the Blazers, while Orge Ortiz and Edu Bedia scored for Goa. The Blazers drew level after leading by two goals.
With this draw, the Blazers remain third with 14 points from nine games. Goa are ninth in the table with nine points. With this, the Blasters were able to go unbeaten in eight consecutive matches.
The Blazers unleashed an attack from the first minute. In the sixth minute, Sahal Abdul Samad of Blasters got a good chance but the player’s shot went wide of the post. Sahal took the lead after receiving a superb pass from Vasquez, but the star could not find the target.
But the Blasters took the lead in the 10th minute. Youngster Jackson Singh netted for the Yellows. Adrian Luna’s corner kick was headed home by Jackson Govan. The Goan defense could only stare at this header.
Govan’s forwards woke up after conceding a goal. Goa woke up to score the equalizer but the Blazers defense thwarted it all. Playmaker Adrian Luna gave the Blasters the lead in the 20th minute. Luna saw the goal in what can be described as a miracle goal. Luna’s shot from 35 yards out landed on the Govan post and hit the post into the net. Goalkeeper Dheeraj missed the ball and could not avoid it. This gave Kerala a 2-0 lead within 20 minutes.
But Goa was not ready to give up. Goa opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a goal. Orge Ortiz found the target for Goa. Ortiz received a beautiful pass from Xavier Gamma and passed the ball past goalkeeper Gill and into the net.
In the 33rd minute, Sahal got another golden opportunity. Sahal’s attempt flew over the cross bar, though the header had a chance to go just in front of the goalkeeper in front of the goal post.
Goa equalized in the 38th minute with a second goal, shocking the Blasters. This time the goal was scored by AD Bedia. Bedia surprised everyone with his Olympic goal. Edu Bedia netted a corner kick straight into the back of the net. The match ended 2-2.

In the second half, Goa had a better attacking football than the Blasters.
In the 67th minute, Chencho of the Blasters got an open chance but the player failed to hold the ball. Goa’s Devendra Murgaonkar had a chance to score in the 75th minute. But Blasters goalkeeper Devendra’s shot was saved.
In the 87th minute, Edu Bedia’s free kick was deflected by the Blasters into the crossbar. Shortly afterwards, in the 89th minute, Vazquez’s shot from the Blasters flew over the crossbar. Goa got multiple chances in injury time but none of them turned into goals. The match ended in a draw.
