The new giant glowing X logo on the roof of the headquarters of the social network Twitter, which is being renamed X, was dismantled a few days after installation. It is reported by The Verge, reports Day.Az with reference to Gazeta.ru.
According to the city of San Francisco, where the office is located, Twitter repeatedly denied access to inspectors to inspect the installation. The company claimed that the X logo is a “temporary lighting element for the event.”
Local residents living near the building complained about the bright new logo, which constantly blinked. San Francisco Building Inspection Department spokesman Patrick Hannan said they had received 24 complaints about the building, including concerns about the safety of the structure.
Hannan said the department will fine the owner of the building for permits to install and remove the structure, as well as demand a full refund of the department’s inspection and investigation costs.
