The field of health remains one of the sectors with the most deficiencies in Mexico.
The National Association of Health Providers requested a meeting with all the politicians who aspire to occupy the most important position in the country.
One of the promises of Andrés Manuel López Obrador was that Mexico would have a health system “like Denmark’s” before the end of his six-year term.
The country is at a crucial moment as there are 12 months to go before the next presidential election. Although the electoral process has not yet officially begun, there are some people who have already announced themselves as presidential candidates. With this in mind, the Doctors request a dialogue table to learn about the health work plan of each applicant.
“We are at a crucial moment for the candidates for the Presidency of the Republic to listen to us, integrate and take into account the experience of those of us who participate on a daily basis in the prevention, supply and supply of health services for Mexicans. ”, affirmed Carlos Salazar Gaytán, president of the National Association of Health Providers (ANAPS).

The conversation included the participation of Fausto Ávila, leading partner of Health and Life Sciences of KPMG in Mexico; Enrique Martínez Moreno, general director of the Pharmaceutical Institute (INEFAM) and José Luis García, president of the Mexican Association of Institutional Health Distribution (ASMEDIS).
Give visibility to health issues
