Dubai: GDRFA Dubai has announced the opening hours of its offices, in line with the UAE’s new weekend from this year. The service will be available at the GDRFA Dubai Offices on a two – hour basis from 7:30 am to 7 pm, Chief Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri said. The first schedule is from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The second shift is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the GDRFA main office service will be available from 7:30 am to 12 noon on Fridays and then from 2:30 pm to 7 pm, he said. Saturday and Sunday will be weekends for the office.
Until last year, the working day in the government sector was five days a week, but this year it will be reduced to four and a half days. The UAE is the first country in the world to reduce its weekly working day to less than five days. It will create stronger business relationships and opportunities for thousands of UAE-based multinational companies.
Meanwhile, officials said the department’s smart channels should be used for visa-related GDRFA services. The service can also be accessed through the website and the mobile application GDRFA -dubai. At present almost all the visa services of the department are available on the smart channel. However, people outside the UAE should call 0097143139999.
