A trend that seems to have come to stay. Since Cristiano Ronaldo set foot in Saudi Arabia, after his conflictive departure from Manchester United, Saudi football has used its economic power to tempt other stars of the European elite to join its league. And one of the last to land in this new competition was Malcom, who signed for Al Hilal and became the most expensive transfer among the Arabs.
