More than ten Russian drones that targeted Kiev were shot down overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, causing falling debris that caused material damage but no casualties, according to the city’s military administration. Groups of Iranian-made “Shahed” explosive drones, coming from several directions, entered the skies of the capital simultaneously. “All the targets – more than ten drones – were detected and destroyed in time”, indicated on Telegram Serguiï Popko, the head of the military administration.
Debris from downed drones, however, fell on the neighborhoods of Solomyansky, Golosiivsky and Svyatoshynsky. “There is damage to non-residential premises and road surfaces, without destruction or serious fires,” the military administration added. The mayor of kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, confirmed the fall of debris on several neighborhoods and material damage. “There are no dead or injured in the capital,” he said.
