Travis Scott returns to Italy after just over a month for a new date, Monday 7 August at the Circus Maximus in Rome. It is the first date ever after the release of the film ‘Circus Maximus’ and the release of the album ‘Utopia’ on July 27 and 28 respectively. A live show that already from these previews promises to be an event of global significance and importance, in which the choice of the place bearing the same name as the film does not seem to be a coincidence. After the appearance in Pompeii comes the certainty of his great concert in Italy at the Circus Maximus where the artist will bring his repertoire but will also celebrate his new recording work for the first time.

‘Utopia’ is the new album from award-winning, diamond-certified and 8-time Grammy Award-nominated artist Travis Scott. The album debuted at number 1 on the Top Album Debut Global Chart, totaling over 128 million streams on Spotify in just 24 hours and thus becoming the artist’s best debut to date and the fifth best debut ever in the history of the platform. Not only that, all the tracks contained in the disc entered the Top 30 of the global chart, and specifically 9 tracks in the Top 10 led by ‘Hayena’ which directly conquered the first position. Finally, the entire album immediately entered the Top 100 of the Italian chart.

‘Utopia’ sums up all of Travis Scott’s skills as a performer, songwriter, producer and collaborator, proving once again to be an innovator capable of taking his music to an ever higher level. The album follows the global success of the album ‘Astroworld’ (double Platinum in Italy), of the previous ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’ (Platinum in Italy), and of the singles ‘Sicko Mode’ (double Platinum in Italy), ‘Tkn’ feat. Rosalia (Platinum in Italy), and of the super Hit with over 2 billion streams ‘Goosebumps’ (triple Platinum in Italy). ‘Utopia’ was preceded by the single ‘K-pop’ featuring billion-stream hitmakers Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. The song is climbing the Italian radio Airplay chart, while it has already reached the Top 3 of the Spotify world chart and the Top 15 (13) of the Italian chart.

Travis Scott also presented his film ‘Circus maximus’ in the United States, a surreal and psychedelic journey, written and directed by the artist himself, bringing together visionary directors (Gaspar Noe, Valdimar Jóhannsson, Nicolas Winding Refn, Harmony Korine, Kahlil Joseph) from all over the world to discover the kaleidoscopic human experience and the power of sound. The visual journey is accompanied by the enveloping songs contained in the new album.

Travis Scott is established as a leader not only in music, but also in fashion, culture and beyond. Award-winning artist, designer, style icon, actor, producer and founder of record label Cactus Jack changed the course of hip-hop with a series of groundbreaking albums and moves that sparked discussions. Travis launched the Cactus Jack Foundation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to support Houston youth through charitable initiatives such as toy donations, HBCU undergraduate scholarship programs, and grants for education and creative projects.
