A Pennsylvania couple are facing charges in the gruesome murder of their five-year-old adopted son, Landon. The tragedy began in February when the little boy was taken to the hospital unconscious and died there a little later. The adoptive parents, Lauren (34) and Jacob Maloberti (33), initially claimed that Landon was weakened by a corona infection. But the treating doctors discovered traces of torture on the innocent child.

Landon had suffered severe cerebral hemorrhage and was covered in bruises. He suffered from severe dysfunction and could not stand, eat or drink. Investigators quickly came to the shocking conclusion that he had been abused and tortured to death by his own adoptive parents. It is reported that the mother, Lauren, regularly abused and beat the boy. Landon was mauled with his bare hand, a wooden spoon, and even a spray bottle. The couple’s acquaintances said Lauren “hated” the boy.
While Landon lay dying, the cold-blooded adoptive parents took to social media to launch a fundraiser for their terminally ill son. Thousands of people showed their sympathy and donated generously to the alleged tragedy. The family received around $5,300 in donations through the GoFundMe platform.
Lauren and Jacob Maloberti’s trial begins August 8th. They are accused of murder, child endangerment and serious bodily harm.
