A 26-year-old Frenchman killed

The Valais police had previously indicated that two other mountaineers, a 26-year-old Frenchman and a 36-year-old Dutchman, also died on Monday due to falling rocks during the ascent of the Aiguilles du Tour, on the Swiss side of the massif. of Mont Blanc. A climber injured in the incident, a 22-year-old Dutchman, remains in critical condition, police told ATS-Keystone news agency on Wednesday.

On Sunday, a 47-year-old German-Ukrainian national was killed while trying to climb the Weisshorn, Switzerland’s second highest peak. He fell 600 m, according to the police, who opened investigations into all these fatal accidents.
