Punjabi Malika Honda has accused the state government of failing to deliver on its promises

Malika Honda, from Jalandhar, Punjab, has won several medals at national and international chess tournaments. Corona restrictions and a nationwide blockade turned Malika’s life upside down. The current need for that deaf and dumb chess player is government jobs and rewards. But he posted on his Twitter page that the Punjab government had deceived him.
The former sports minister had announced a cash reward for me and I have an invitation letter for it, but the event was canceled due to the corona spread. I met the current Sports Minister Barkat Singh on December 31st. He told me that the state government could not provide jobs and cash prizes due to the lack of policy for deaf sports. The state government has failed to deliver on its promises.
