Since mid-July, a part of the police in the port city of Marseille has been protesting in support of one of their colleagues, who has been in pretrial detention since July 2, accused of having shot a young man. This Thursday, at the end of a hearing, the judicial authorities agreed to keep him in prison until August 30, the date scheduled for an interrogation.
