Karthik Narain made his directorial debut in Tamil cinema with the film Poles Sixteen. Released in 2016 starring Raghuvan, the film was a huge hit with the fans.
Karthik Narain gave a huge success in his first film and made the entire Tamil cinema world look back at him. Next he directed the film Narakasuran produced by director Gautam Menon.
The film was not released due to a clash between Gautam Menon and Karthik Narain during the filming. Narakasuran, starring Arvind Sami, is still unreleased.
Before the release of Narakasuran, he directed the next Mafia film starring Arunvijay and produced by Leica. Released in the year 2020, the film received mixed reviews.
However Dhanush is currently directing the upcoming Maran film starring Malvika Mohan. Meanwhile he has released his next film announcement.
Karthik Narain will be directing the film Colors Three produced by Aingaran. The first look of the film starring Adarva, Raghuman and Sarathkumar has been released and has been well received by the fans. Also noteworthy is the fact that this is the 25th film to be released by Aingaran Productions.
