Now, each person is free to use their personal time in the way they want. Some prefer sports and others cultural activities that promote intellectual development. While others opt for another type of recreation.

Alcohol consumption among doctors

When doing an analysis by gender, the majority of the doctors affirm that they do not drink alcohol, with 33 percent of the vote. While in second place, with 32 percent, they consume less than one drink per week. And in third position, with 20 percent, they stated that they drank one to two drinks.

Regarding doctors, in first place with 25 percent stated that they consume less than one drink per week. In the second step with 21 percent are those who mention having one to two drinks. And in third position with 19 percent are those who say they do not drink any alcohol. It is noteworthy that three percent were sincere when declaring that they drink more than 10 drinks per week.

In general conclusion, younger physicians consume fewer drinks than older ones (31 percent versus 23 percent who prefer less than one drink per week). While female doctors ingest slightly less alcohol than their male counterparts.
