This Friday (4th), the Civil Police must complete the investigation report into the death of soldier Patrick Reis, from Rota (Rondas Ostensivas Tobias de Aguiar, an elite group of the PM) and send the inquiry to the Justice for the opening of a criminal action, with three indicted for the homicide.
According to Police Chief Antônio Sucupira, responsible for Guarujá, evidence points to Erickson David da Silva, 28, as the author of the shots that killed the police officer. He admitted to being at a drug dealership at the time the officer died, but testified that he did not fire the gun.
In addition to him, Marco Antônio de Assis Silva, 26, and Kauã Jazon da Silva, 20, who is Erickson’s brother, will also be indicted for homicide. The report did not get access to the defense of the two.
The three were at the site, known as Biqueira da Seringueira, in Vila Júlia, when the 9 mm pistol was fired, according to the police.
Three other men and a woman will be indicted for association with drug trafficking, but not for participating in the homicide. They are part of the same group that sells drugs in Seringueira, but there is no evidence that they were there last Thursday (27), still according to investigations.
There are expert examinations to be completed, but Sucupira must ask that the results be sent directly to the court. The most important report will be made on a 9 mm pistol, which will demonstrate whether it is the murder weapon or not.

The pistol was found between two shacks in an alley in Vila Júlia, through an anonymous tip. A weapon like this one has already been photographed with Kauã, who is appointed as the toe scout, and is on his social networks, according to the police.
A capsule and a bullet that was lodged in the PM’s body must be compared with the structure of the pistol.
“The police can also collect any evidence necessary for the judicial process, if so requested”, explained Sucupira.
From now on, a judge must open the process to the Public Ministry of São Paulo, responsible for offering the complaint.

Patrick Bastos Reis was shot during a routine patrol when the vehicle in which he was leaving the scene was already under fire, according to the incident report.
Reis was hit in the armpit, was rescued, but did not resist. Corporal Marin, who was participating in the patrol, was shot in the left hand.
The death motivated Operation Shield in Baixada Santista, which will last a month and involve agents from all 15 special operation battalions in the state. At least 16 people have already died during police actions, according to the SSP (Secretary of Public Security).
