Jango Edwards, the American clown and comedian based in Barcelona, has died this Friday at the age of 73. This has been communicated by the mayor of the city Ciudad Condal Jaume Collboni. Born in 1950 in Detroit (United States) as Stanley Ted Edwards, Jango Edward settled in Europe at the beginning of the 70s, and lived in the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands and Spain, among other countries, where he decided to settle in recent years. .

The clown and comedian, creator of the “nouveau clown” trend, a movement currently followed by some 5,000 clowns around the world, announced last September that he was suffering from terminal cancer. «This is my last year in life, I am dying.
