Agents of the National Police have arrested the most wanted fugitive in the Dominican Republic in Madrid. The woman, who worked in a hardware store, stabbed the manager after an argument in April 2022, thus ending her life. She then left the Caribbean country.

Thanks to the investigations, it was possible to find out the escape route of the fugitive: she left the Dominican Republic to reach Colombia, where she bought a false passport with a Colombian identity. She later traveled to Brazil, where she would take a flight to Paris (France) and then another to Barcelona.

Due to the extreme seriousness of the acts committed and her great ability to evade justice, the Dominican authorities consider her the most wanted fugitive in the country. Initially, the investigations located the fugitive in the city of Barcelona, ​​although after several efforts and searches among the people related to the detainee, the search focused on the Madrid district of Tetuán.

Investigators discovered that he only left the house at night. In addition, she covered her hair with an updo, making it difficult to fully identify her. Finally, and once intercepted, it was possible to verify that she was the fugitive thanks to the comparison of her fingerprints, despite having dyed her hair and using false documentation.
