Boy killed after being shot in the head during training

The bullet, which came out during a shooting exercise in Pudukkottai district, hit the boy on the head at a nearby house. The boy was admitted to the hospital in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries.

Police sniper training was held on December 30 near Northamalai Ammachathram in Pudukkottai district. The bullet struck the head of an 11-year-old boy from a nearby house.

The boy was admitted to the Tanjore Medical College Hospital in critical condition. The bomb was removed from the head by surgery that lasted for 4 consecutive hours. However, doctors said the boy had only heart function and no brain function.

Police have registered a case against the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at the Pudukottai Vellanur Police Station and are conducting an investigation. Sports Minister Meyyanathan inquired from the doctors about the health of the boy Pukahendi who is receiving treatment at the hospital.

In this case, the boy who was monitored in the intensive care unit for 5 days died today without any treatment effect.
